John Rogers
Ruling Elder
As an ordained Ruling Elder of Jacob's Well John is responsible for the health and well-being of the church and its members. This includes: teaching classes, being in church policy discussions, financial decisions, hospital visits, regular prayer for church members and general oversight of small groups and church members.
About John
John is the husband to Lisa and father to Geoffrey, Jack, Bailey, Macy, and Lily. He grew up in Southeastern Ohio, then spent 20 years in the US Navy on submarines (winning the Cold War). While serving in the Navy, John and family lived in five different states along the east coast. The Rogers family has lived in Wisconsin since 2009.

What do you do in your free time?
- In my free time I enjoy reading, especially history, and watching movies.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
- Is actually the story when Joseph conceals his identity from, then reunites with his family starting in Genesis 42
If you could meet anyone in history who would it be?
- I would have liked to have been part of the crew of the Endurance on Ernest Shackleton’s South Pole expedition.
