Steve Burton
Ruling Elder
As an ordained Ruling Elder of Jacob's Well Steve is responsible for the health and well-being of the church and its members. This includes: leading a men's bible study, being in church policy discussions, financial decisions, hospital visits, regular prayer for church members and general oversight of small groups and church members.
About Steve
Steven lived the first half of his life in the suburb’s of Atlanta. Upon graduating high school, he moved to Indiana to attend Purdue University, after graduation, he moved to Wisconsin to pursue further studies. He has been attending Jacob's Well since 2015, and has been a ruling elder since 2021.
Steven and Lindsay are the parents of Titus (2011), Tinley (2013) and Talitha (2020). Steven has his M.S.degree in Management from the UWGB and obtained his B.A. in Law from Purdue University. Currently attending Seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary pursuing his Masters in Divinity. Currently he serves as the facilities manager and church planting intern for Jacob’s Well.

What do you do in your free time?
- I like to play card/board games with family: especially Ticket to Ride, I also like bike riding, reading and occasionally a movie.
What is your favorite bible verse?
- Acts 10: 40-43 "...but God raised Him on the third day and made Him appear, not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name."
